Default Impreza WRX Type RA

1995 WRX Type RA Trackday car.

The car started as a little side project whilst i was rebuilding the engine for my other track RA using parts i removed from the other car due to upgrades. It was originally bought with an engine failure for the shell incase i had an "off" in my other track RA. I managed to source a 1995 WRX which had been hit in the rear, the engine had a rebuild at Thames Valley Motorsport including an uprated oil pump 40k ago so it was an ideal donor.

The car done 5 track days in 2010 and the only issue i had was it destroyed a clutch, that was soon replaced with an AP clutch. I had the car on the rollers in December where it made 324bhp with a Polar Performance chip.....yes thats right a Polar Performance chip. I know there will be many doubters of this claim but thats what it made....I have the graph.

The full spec of the car.

Ported header's matched to custom made uppipe with larger bore.

TD05 turbo converted to front-entry, compressor housing modified by Turbo Dynamics.

Custom turbo intake, inlet manifold ported and matched to heads.

Parallel fuel lines.

Single coil pack conversion.

Front mount intercooler.

Custom alloy remote powersteering bottle fitted.

3'' decat Exaust fitted 98db perfect for trackdays.

18" old school Comp Mo's with 18/35/215 Yokohoma Parardas.

AP-Racing clutch fitted rated to 400bhp.

Fully baffled sump made by me.

AP Racing 4 pot calipers with AP pads.

In tank Walbro 255 feeding a 1-1/2 liter swirlpot to external walbro high power fuel pump

New cam belt fitted under 2k ago.

Lowered suspension with adjustable damping.

The inside is just standard RA, windup windows etc apart from an Oil pressure gauge.

The car is as i describe, a trackday car......its not a minter so please dont expect a showroom condition car..........what it is, is a cheap ready to go trackday car which has kept up with and passed cars with much more power.

Ive been using this car everyday for work and only selling because, firstly Duncan is coming down to replace the Gems on my other RA with a Simtek in 2 weeks...Secondly, my 2.1 pinto'd RWD S2 RST is about finished and ready for an MOT and Thirdly, ive just bought an oil burner to use as my daily driver to it has to go....no other reason.

Car is based in Bournemouth.

Havnt decided quite yet, but if I do sell it i'll want £400 with the dongle or £550 with the Apexi AVCR.
