Subaru Impreza STI Spec C
Spec C Ltd.
I have recently been offered a car that I am very keen to obtain; as such my Spec C V-Ltd is for sale.
NB the Spec C V Ltd model has upgraded equipment to the standard Spec C i.e. air conditioning, electric windows, electric mirrors, passenger sun visor and grip, colour coded mirrors, central locking etc.
It also has all the usual Spec C performance mods which include:-
1) 12 ltr intercooler tank in the boot with in car automatic/manual intercooler water spray button.
2) VF36 roller bearing twin scroll turbo,
3) In car adjustable DCCD,
4) Gear box oil cooler,
5) 13:1 quick steering rack,
6) Upgraded fuel pump,
7) Roof hatch,
8) Light weight body shell, 120 kg lighter than the standard STI with lightweight glass, roof, boot lid, all excess trim & sound deadening removed.
9) Stiffer chassis with revised welding & stiffer suspension turrets
10) Smaller 50 litre fuel tank.
11) Smaller lightweight battery
etc, etc
In addition this car has beed progressively modified as follows:-
Engine - Full turbo back TSL reverse pulse extraction exhaust with CAT, 3 port solenoid valve, STi panel filter, ECU tek remapped by Richard Bulmer / Powerstation, Roger Clark radiator 'cool' panel - Basically it is has a Litchfield Import's Type 20 engine spec but with a different exhaust. Presently it's showing 348 BHP & 454 NM of torque on Powerstations dyno. (Dyno sheet available)
Wheels - Unmarked Roto Formula mesh wheels (S204 lookalikes) 18 inch with new Vredestein Sessanta's.
Brakes - NEW DBA 5000 Series slotted front disc's and NEW Ferodo DS2500 pads. DBA slotted rear disc's with DBA pads. Goodridge lines all round, DOT 5 brake fluid.
Suspension - Adjustable EXC-TC stainless steel coilovers with uprated top mounts, and geometry set up by Roger Clark Motorsport.
Other mods - PIAA Super white bulbs (High beam), PIAA wipers, laser radar jammer, full security/tracker.
Interior - Pioneer CD, radio, cassette with six stacker in boot and steering wheel control unit, infinity speakers front & rear, Subaru floor mats front and rear. In addition to allow for everyday use this Spec C has a full boot lining with double carpets and spare wheel cover.
Exterior - ABS plastic front lip spoiler with STI Badge. Seibon carbon fibre rear spoiler.
Service History - The car has a full service history all work being carried out by Roger Clark Motorsport with the exception of one service by Power station. Services being undertaken at the following mileages - 8338, 16633, 23931, 29839, 42292, 53789, 62862 & 73499. In addition to the standard servicing requirements the car has had both front wheel bearings and the rear drop links replaced inbetween the last two services. NB all the belts and tensioner assembly were replaced during the service at 53789. The current mileage is circa 79000 and will increase at the rate of approx 300 miles per week.
Other - The car was originally imported by Langtree Garage (Wicked Kit) in early 2004 with 2500KM on the speedo, it was UK registered when I purchased it from them on 1/4/2004 and I've owned it since then. (It has had no former UK owners).
It has been extremely well looked after, maintained regardless of cost and cleaned regularly.
The current MOT is until 31/12/11 and taxed until September 2011.
The history of the car is fully documented with detailed invoices for everything, all previous MOT's and the original import paperwork from Japan.
NB this car has never been smoked in and has never been taken on a track, crashed or stolen and is currently being used by my partner as our family 'mum bus'!. (I cannot use the car for work since the company I work for has very strict emissions policies for employees cars)
I'm looking for £9,650 for the car as described above.
This is a totally genuine car and the only reason I am selling it is that I would like to upgrade. If you are interested PM me, NB I am not open to silly offers, I would rather keep the car than let it go for peanuts.
Thanks for looking.

I'm afraid I did, but thats what happens when you become a father and you give the only four door car you have to your partner to use as the family 'mum bus'. At least I haven't changed the Spec C for a Citroen Xsara Picasso!!!

Cheers fellas, thanks for the 'bumps'.
Brian - I hope your Spec C is shaping up.
For anyone who is interested the price on the car is now £9,650, including 1 years road tax.

Hi the car is still for sale but following on from your posts it would appear I put the wrong mileage in the initial advert .
The mileage is now actually 79,000 and since my last post's the car has had the following:-
1) Four new Vredestein Sessanta's and the tracking set (5/11/10).
2) 12 months MOT on 31/12/10 with the mileage recorded as 78860 on the certificate.
3) Starter motor overall, new rear anti roll bar bushes, new air con & aux drive belts (all by Roger Clark Motorsport with the mileage recorded at 78872 on the receipt).
If you are interested in the car send me a PM.
