Just a query / point about the mileage: Was it definitely 66500 miles, and not kilometres? When I bought my old Evo from SVA, the mileage up until that point was in Km, and once the speedometer thing was fitted, the speedo read in mph, and mileage increased in miles.
If it was in km beforehand, that would make it only 41.5k miles in Japan

 

Hi Henrik, I have the jap sevice history here which I checked a good while back as I thought about this
also but sad to say the mileage is correct at 75800 approx
