Subaru Impreza s203 now registered
Advertising this for my dad, Subaru Impreza s203 numbers 457 of 555. Imported at the start of the year but changed his mind, car has been mot'd but not registered the next owner will be the be the first uk owner.
90,000 kilometres which is roughly 56,000 miles, still in kilometres and will still have the limiter. It's only done 10 miles since coming into the country which was to the garage for its mot and back and has been stored in a garage since! It has not been under sealed yet but can be if the buyer wants it done. Car has full service history from Japan and will be serviced for the new owner.
All the usual s203 extras, also has 4 defi gauges boost pressure, oil pressure, oil temperature and water temperature. Reverse camera also fitted.
Bodywork is in very good condition as is the interior, only bad points is the wheels have slight kerbing, front carbon lip has a small crack and the centre console around the radio could do with being replaced.
Pictures don't do the car justice.
Located in Perthshire Scotland.
£16,750 Ono

Absolutely love the look of this car!!
What's involved in order to get the car to UK spec for our roads?
Does it require remap for UK fuel, new clocks for mph, rear fog lamp, undersealled etc??
Any idea the cost involved as its something I've never had to do.
Thanks in advance.

Cracking car. I love the seats in these, although I fear I may be a little too wide to fit in them!
Just out of interest, why is the reg plate fixture off to the side? Is the car missing its left fog cover?

My advice would be to sort that number plate out, put those gauges into a proper pod in the centre of the dash and then do some better photos with a better backdrop.
At the moment that looks gash, I'm looking for a car at the moment and wouldn't give 12k for it as it is, make those changes and adjust the asking to less than the dealers mint one is at and you'll have more luck selling, private sale at £14k it will be gone in no time.

He's priced it round the same price as the dealer cars as it has less miles and Just as clean if not cleaner.
I'm looking for a buyer not and advisor thanks for the advice all the same

Chill, I actually suggested knocking £2750 off the price once you sorted it out, not £4750, I wasn't making you an offer.
The dealer car and not the Motorhub one, I mean the nice one has been sitting there for ages without selling and that's with dealer facilities, waranty and finance offered, I was merely pointing out that you might be waiting a very long time with yours looking worse than theirs and offering no dealer benefits as a private sale.
If you made it look better and offered at a price that reflects a private sale then you might have more luck selling it.
As you say you don't need any helpful advice, I expect you must be too busy answering the phone to prospective buyers......
Good luck with the sale, ignore the advice all you want but it's not bad advice.

It's not really advice, more your opinion which I didn't ask for! Cheers anyway
As I said this is just as clean if not cleaner and lower miles than the others for sale!
