Advertising this for my dad, Subaru Impreza s203 numbers 457 of 555. Imported at the start of the year but changed his mind, car has been mot'd but not registered the next owner will be the be the first uk owner.

90,000 kilometres which is roughly 56,000 miles, still in kilometres and will still have the limiter. It's only done 10 miles since coming into the country which was to the garage for its mot and back and has been stored in a garage since! It has not been under sealed yet but can be if the buyer wants it done. Car has full service history from Japan and will be serviced for the new owner.

All the usual s203 extras, also has 4 defi gauges boost pressure, oil pressure, oil temperature and water temperature. Reverse camera also fitted.

Bodywork is in very good condition as is the interior, only bad points is the wheels have slight kerbing, front carbon lip has a small crack and the centre console around the radio could do with being replaced.

Pictures don't do the car justice.

Located in Perthshire Scotland.

£16,750 Ono

S203

Absolutely love the look of this car!!

What's involved in order to get the car to UK spec for our roads?

Does it require remap for UK fuel, new clocks for mph, rear fog lamp, undersealled etc??

Any idea the cost involved as its something I've never had to do.

Thanks in advance.

It's basically ready all that needs is registering! It would probably benefit from a map although I was told it does not need it! You can run it in kilometres but you can get the clocks converted to mph if you want. Already has a fog fitted as it has been mot'd. It would benefit from being undersells which I can do for the buyer or they can do it themselves. Costs £55 to register the car and whatever the tax is.

you are like a one stop shop for all the best imprezas!

My fav. Impreza

Cracking car. I love the seats in these, although I fear I may be a little too wide to fit in them! :lol1:

Just out of interest, why is the reg plate fixture off to the side? Is the car missing its left fog cover?

rab89 11 July 2016 08:01 PM

Haha just a shame I didn't get to use this one.

That's how it came from Japan, yea unfortunately the fog lamp cover is missing! You

rab89 12 July 2016 12:49 PM

They are aftermarket gauges so have been stuck to the dash, don't look that bad when your sitting in it.

Hard to compare only driven it to the mot station, not as raw as the s202. Seats are amazing too!

rab89 20 July 2016 07:24 AM

Open to sensible offers, can also register it too if that's putting potential buyers off.

Cheers banny, I'd love too buy it off him but he won't give me family discount.

May have to try advertising it elsewhere, would rather another member bought it though.

Neither am I but it didnt come with a fog light cover, so would look worse with one missing.

rab89 28 September 2016 01:12 PM

open to sensible offers before it goes on eBay

My advice would be to sort that number plate out, put those gauges into a proper pod in the centre of the dash and then do some better photos with a better backdrop.

At the moment that looks gash, I'm looking for a car at the moment and wouldn't give 12k for it as it is, make those changes and adjust the asking to less than the dealers mint one is at and you'll have more luck selling, private sale at £14k it will be gone in no time.

£4750 off the asking price because the plate is off to the side, gauges aren't in a pod and the backdrop of the pictures... when I'm buying a car it's not the back drop of the pictures I'm worried about!

He's priced it round the same price as the dealer cars as it has less miles and Just as clean if not cleaner.

I'm looking for a buyer not and advisor thanks for the advice all the same :thumb:

peter a 28 September 2016 11:03 PM

Chill, I actually suggested knocking £2750 off the price once you sorted it out, not £4750, I wasn't making you an offer.

The dealer car and not the Motorhub one, I mean the nice one has been sitting there for ages without selling and that's with dealer facilities, waranty and finance offered, I was merely pointing out that you might be waiting a very long time with yours looking worse than theirs and offering no dealer benefits as a private sale.

If you made it look better and offered at a price that reflects a private sale then you might have more luck selling it.

As you say you don't need any helpful advice, I expect you must be too busy answering the phone to prospective buyers......

Good luck with the sale, ignore the advice all you want but it's not bad advice.

:thumb::thumb::thumb:

rab89 29 September 2016 08:14 AM

It's not really advice, more your opinion which I didn't ask for! Cheers anyway

As I said this is just as clean if not cleaner and lower miles than the others for sale!
