It's got rectangle number plates as well

Good job on sorting these bits out but way too much money IMHO.

Cheers for all the comments.

Car is priced high, I do have negotiation room as always, have a look at the S203's currently for sale at Japanese dealers with 120-130k KM on them for 14K before shipping, 10% import and 20% Vat. One at 13k with missing lip spoiler, poor paint and repair history.

Cheers

To be fair the price the OP was selling it for was IMO a bargain for what the car was and if you were to try and replace it you would struggle to.

With some asking 12-13k for standard widetrack STi fresh imports then a few k more for a limited model with unique spec is well worth it.

Best of luck with the sale. No doubt to someone who appreciates it and is specifically after a S203 it will make a great purchase.

You can fabricate any old number and say this that and the next but the fact is it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay and the op had it for sale for a very long time.

It’s a niche market and unless you’re willing to hold off for a very long time then it’s not going to sell, which essentially means it’s not worth that.

It doesn’t bother me as such, it’s his car, he can ask for as much as he likes but I have my suspicions that it was purely purchased with the intent to punt on for profit soon after.....which clearly seems the case.

When originally advertised, many thought it was cheap (as did I). I suspect chief problem was location and eventually a local buyer snapped up a bargain. If it was mine, I would move it down the country to sell it.

I honestly didn’t think it was the same car surprising how these little changes make such difference
You’ve done a superb job of tidying it up
it’s worth every penny imo GLWTS genuine buyer will snap it up as you say there’s room for negotiation

I saw this on piston heads, and then Zany's post in general. It's a superb example of a fantastic car. One for my dream garage.

Well I can tell you it sold within 6 days. I bought it to use and have since bought another car and moved onto new Work contracts so never home to use it.. But why should I have to justify that?

Who said you had to

I'm very surprised it sold for that much, if it did then it's clearly worth that amount.
