Genuine low mileage, 23K, 2003 WRX for sale
Hi there, my beloved 2003 Impreza WRX is now up for sale as my wife has convinced me that I should no longer be riding around in such a car at 62 years old. I never thought I would admit it but, as I have now retired, I have to look at something more sedate.
I have owned the car from new and it has been garaged every night. It has a genuine 23K miles on the clock and the MOT history to prove it. I worked abroad for most of my life hence the low mileage. Many mods have been carried out, the initial ones done by Scoobyworld around 2005, which included;
Walbro 255 fuel pump,
STI injectors,
TD05H 16G turbo,
Race Box rear exhaust,
K&N induction kit,
Cobra sports cat down pipe,
De-cat exhaust centre section,
Tubular s/s exhaust headers and up pipe,
STI intercooler and bonnet scoop,
25mm lowered springs,
Whiteline front & rear ARBs,
Increased diameter Godspeed brake discs and Bluestuff pads all round,
Remapping at 1.4 barg boost to 315 hp.
During that time the 5000 mile service was done but no other recorded services have been done. I have done all work since myself, including a cam belt change at 10K miles (around 5 years ago)
I have just had a new set of tubular s/s exhaust headers and up pipe, the latter wrapped, fitted as the previous ones developed a crack. The new ones are unequal to retain the Scooby burble.
She has recently undergone a fine detailing at Lincoln Deep Shine Detail where the finish was brought back to an as-new condition, as can be seen in the photos.
She also has dash gauges (boost and oil pressure/manifold temp) silicon hoses, Shortshifter quick shift & silicon wipers. It is fitted with black alloys, as per the photos, but I also have the original wheels fitted with nearly new Snowtrak winter tyres and will throw these in with the sale if the price is right.
I think I have covered everything here but may think of something else later. The car has never been to a track day or raced off road as I would not risk damaging my pride and joy.
The only body damage, ever, was when I reversed into a post which dented the rear bumper and cracked the rear nearside light unit, both of which were fixed.
Due to the low mileage on this car I would expect it to fetch over 6K but may need some direction on this as I never envisaged selling her. I welcome any comments, whether positive or negative, as long as they are constructive.
If someone wants a great example of a 2.0 Impreza with the low WRX fuel consumption and road tax then this is it.

Looks smart well done for sticking with it. Although i disagree with your wife, looks nice and subtle. Have a gentleman down my road is about the same age and he has a blue one in mint condition.
Price seems about right. Seen one with 40k on the clock go for 5k. I wouldn't mind it myself, just 6k is more than i want to spend. Although its worth it.

Errr no, it depends what you have, this is a very low mileage Impreza, most have done over 100k, that's why this one worth alot, full service history, garaged all its life and one owner. Hence it being worth its money all day long.
