Presumably the car must be due a service? So 8000 miles in at least a year is quite a few Sunday drives I'm a little confused. When is the next service due?

OK but according to your description the car was last serviced at 36k and is now on 44k but you have only done 1400 miles in two years just sounds a little worrying and needs clarifying where the 'gaps' are if there are any

Because dates are as important as mileage. Just because the car has only done 1400 miles doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't need a service. It seemed a simple enough question but the response seems a little aggressive, I'm out! And no there are still big gaps in your service record and alter the value of your car. GLWTS

Wouldn't hurt to add the dates of those services though would it? Your responses do come across as quite aggressive too - gives the impression you have something to hide. Just saying ...

With all due respect, you are trying to sell a car for £10,800 yet getting the **** when people are asking pretty important questions about its history.
Services intervals represent mileage AND time, usually an interval will be 12,000 miles OR 12 months, which ever is soonest.
If your service history doesnt appear to add up or is not clear, then sure you will expect a few question. Getting agressive with your responses wont help sell the car!!
Not trying to anger you dude, but its true, and if theres a gap in the service history then people will want to know why.
Most expensive cars will have been properly serviced at the correct interval regardless of mileage.
I think thats all he was getting at. Anyway, good luck with the sale im sure it will sell sooner or later.
