My questions are ....Japanparts have them but there over £330 then there's the import tax on top too.
Are there any other companies out there selling them ?,
Will a GC8 fit a newage or is the inside bracket different.
Cheers.

you will do well to find one in a breakers i looked for ages and then bit the bullet and got a new one from japan parts.
the delivered cost is nearer £500 with taxes but at least it has all the seal, bolts, correct colour etc.
getting new seals can cause problems if they are in poor condition.
the older ones dont fit newage cars either.

Afaik they are the only company that sells them. A classic flap is a different size and has different brackets to a newage one so may fit but would be a pain to do.
Did you have no joy with the one I told you about?

New I always the best option IMO although I've fitted plenty of both.
It's a reasonably rare mod and it's price aids it's retrofit exclusivity I guess. But I'm sure everyone that has one will agree. One of their favourite modifications.
I know mine is one of my favourite parts on the car.
If you can get a group buy on flaps im sure a group fitting couple arranged. Haha.

If you wait long enough a bargain does appear every now and then, Just got to be lucky. I got my vent around two years ago now.
If you find one second hand make sure it has all the plastic interior trim screws with it as I've heard they are mega expensive to buy individually.
