Hawkeye dechromed lights, opinions
So what's the opinions? Was my Friday afternoons work worth pissing off the wife to do? Pretty easy to do and thanks to the post on here which was well detailed on the process.
Dechromed lights and sprayed the silver grill on the gb270. Don't have a before image so if anyone has one please help by putting up so we can see if it's better or worse, personal opinions please.
Not sure if he likes the change!

Cheers, wasnt too sure whether to do the grill or not at the time. I would have lost it all together if i could have but they are fitted by holes drilled in the bumper argh plus it does give some protection. Its got 3 coats of paint and 3 coats of laquer on it so probably more paint than is on the front bumper lol, not that subaru are renouned for using a lot of paint.
Still style wise i really like the lights but the grill is okay so may alter it again. The fog light is just reflecting the flash, went to have a wee check there just incase.

Cheers guys, I think from the reading the rears are glued together so I'm afraid we are stuck with those. If someone can confirm please do so. As for the indicators that's just the orange bulb m8 I'll get round to changing them it looks worse in photos as the flash reflects the orange light. Next step will be a set of anthracite wheels, looking at compomotives although too expensive so possibly I'll go for revolutions. Had a wee look at 3sdm 0.05 but wary about quality there as they haven't been around long and they're communication skills are ****e!

thats what i meant ! The flash does weird things to the lights , my Ebay pics make the chrome bulbs look black & orange. Think they wont sell for that reason. Pretty sure you are right about the rears , not just as easy to do as the fronts from what i have read/heard.

Have you noticed any difference in the amount of light given off now that you've sprayed the chrome sections?
I'm thinking of doing this on my black hawkeye but wanted to check before i decided to take the plunge lol
