Default Smoked Indicators/Side lights

Is it worth buying smoked indicators or is it possible to do a good job on the my current clear indicators with the off the shelf spray ?

i have seen these guys tinting stuff but to me it looks pretty tinted, not sure if a good light would shine thru ?

What car is this on?

I had smoked indicators and silva-tech bulbs on my classic.
Got a pull from VOSA, the Police Officer there asked if I'd ever looked at the indicators in daylight.

We had a look together, and they were CRAP! You could hardly see them.

I took them off and sold them on e-bay the next day.

its for a classic

i can see that being the case for the above ones, totally blacked out, but these ones seem o.k as they are still slightly clear

I used a single coat of e-tech tint spray and three of clear laquer. Some Osram diadem bulbs in and they're as bright as the normal orange ones but still look smoked.

Silvertch bulbs are crap, avoid like the plague!

Try HERE

They're expensive but they last forever. I have one pair that are 12 years old and been in about 10 different cars!

Any that show NOT orange and light up orange.
