Default Graphics in general "POLL" Become an official Snet Trader Yes / No?

Hi Guys,

I'm seriously considering becoming a trader on here for Graphics in any specification, from subtle replacement OEM spec stickers to full blown wraps, what are your opinions please

I'm not aware of anyone else on Scoobynet offering such a service, right?

Ive also been approached by LADS

Thanks,
Rob

wraps can be good earners mate but 50 a month is a lot to lay out for graphics alone although they are 99% profit they are still low revenue earners. Not trying to put you off but there are also copyright issues with oem stuff and these sites are trawled by officials checking for these kind of things.

The monthly charge was my concern buddy, and I wish I could earn 99% profit . I dont use inferior materials as I find most cheap vinyls simply are not up to the job, they are either a nightmare to work with, and/or offer poor finished products, and/or a nightmare to install.

Having said that I have just ordred £200 worth of some new vinyl that ive never heard of that is supposedly the bees knees in the states..... Yet to be convinced .

The best Vinyl's for me are Cast 5yr+ such as 3M, Avery, Oracal, Mactac, and a few other suppliers, thus no 99% profit here!! Even my application tape is high grade.

Regards,
Rob

Go for it , I had a nightmare getting my decals , I had to get them from 3 different suppliers and make some myself , so it would save people a lot of hassle

Obviously material costs varying amounts, i know the wraps are done in top quality material. A mate of mine owns a race numbers business which he uses 5 year vinyl for but people want the numbers to be able to be easily removed so some request cheap low tack 2 and 3 year stuff. I use his machine to do my graphics etc and i use his 5 year vinyl for graphics but i use a lot of stencil low tack solvent resistant stuff which i buy myself which isnt cheap either. I think as my mate never charges me and i have to force money on him maybe thats why i was underestimating costs lol.

I bit the bullet in march i think and paid for 3 months Advertising on here and its paid off upto now. I did 5k sales in brakes alone in march and done around 1k this month upto date its increased since paying to be authorised.

If you pay £150 for three months im sure even if you dont do really well you'll cover your costs and at least you'll know.

Yes I think you are probably right, there is very little money in small fiddly one off graphics, or large one plain graphics.

I have been involved with decals / stripes / stickers / graphcs or whatever you want to call them these days since I was in nappies . I recall my first ever time I applied stripes to a Mk1 Escort and Lancia Delat Martini. The "RSR" business folded 5 years ago when my dad past away, and the business went to probate, it was only up until 2yrs after that when I deced to keep it alive. So im slowly building it back up. I have every intention of doing this by the book, and I have been approached by other companies whom trade on here that wish to use me for trade supply to them, which includes trader logo graphics.

I looked at £50 a month as a lot but when you look at the revenue increase its worth it in most cases, jus had a glance through and im up 150% on sales since i advertised on here. I did do a few other things also at the same time but i think a lot of that it due to SN

I will get straight with backlogs from both my jobs , then re-asses the route i need to take. Im guessing for £150 for 3 months I may aswell bite the bullet as a taster to see how it goes....

No worries, I wasnt taking it as criticism, I was simply making it known that this isnt something I have just dreamt up. Ive been working with Graphics now for well over 20 years now, and I very much enjoy makiing custom graphics, thus this would be the best way to offer that service..

Cheers,
Rob
