Default cheap mod - DE BADGING :) simple guide

took a while, and a fair bit of hard work

tools required...

heat gun or hair dryer
flat plastic card/tool (credit card does fine)
wax/polish
t - cut or something similar
few rags/cloths

time (1 hour for what i done, see below)

simple really, heat the badge up slowly, then prise it off with a plastic card (dont use a stanley blade) then remove all the excess glue with elbow greese and rags. once the majority is off, you may have a outline of the badge, t cut the area well, and this should remove any marks...

before

after

still plan to remove the type UK badge, but got bored after an hour.

the badges came off fine, so can be re fitted if i want, but i really prefer this look. any other coments?

will remove the STi badge, then see where i can move it to.

flushing the lock, headache! too much money and messing about for such a small thing. but i know it would look good. just thought a few people might want to see my results, i think it looks 10x better at the mo.

Well... I am in favour of removing all those little extra badges, but personally prefer to leave S U B A R U written proudly on my boot lids :-)
