hi mate you would be better getting a carbon boot it will be lighter easier to find and not that much more money plus fiberglass has a tendancy to move over time where as carbon wont plus you dont have to get it sprayed which will make up for the extra cost of the carbon one hope this helps mate

Remember most carbon panels are Carbon skinned GRP though.

yes but a carbon skined boot on fiberglass frame will still be lighter and stronger than a full fiberglass one
