Default 99 fog light covers

am i correct in thinking that on a my99 uk turbo i would have to remove the fog lights to fit covers? ive seen cheap covers on ebay for around 30 quid, other places sell with a fitting kit etc and are more expensive....... anyone shed some light on this as im gonna go for the covers but aint sure really what to do. i really would hate to have to bodge anything, and i like things to fit properly, any info would be a real help, thanks.

I'm sure I've seen some with a mesh to allow the light to escape, but most require removal of the foglights, (which are useless anyway).

I've never seen any that can be taken off/put back at will, like lamp covers

Not. They aren't tested, only the rear one, and if they aren't fitted they certainly aren't tested

Will take some close ups tomorrow for you, they are fibreglass ones cost about £20 didnt use a fitting kit just some plastic bolts (number plate bolts or similar) you could glue/bond them in if your removeing the lights, the ones above for £30 look a good buy just need to secure them with a screw.

Found a guide that might help Fiberglass FogLight Covers - ScoobyMods

Buy the ones from HTAuto's, that's what I\ve got and you get a kit included, they fit perfectly (however, I did remove my fogs . . . . )

Search on google for them. . . view my scooby
