Hi Dave,
Theres a link here from NASIOC where the grill is taken off so it can be "type RA-R" modded. I think its only for hawkeyes, but the threads a big one so maybe other models are in it, or maybe search that site for your model
hope this helps and good look

Make the mesh is approx 40mm larger overall than the size of the opening.
Working from behind the bumper, centralize the mesh and then bend down the 20mm overlap you have and then silicon mastic it in place, you might need to rough up the plastic with coarse paper, it seems to have a wax like substance on it which I presume is left over from the manufacturing stage.
You can also use fibreglass and resin but this can get a bit messy.

Dave,
I've got the Prodrive Mesh which is powder coated black that I had on the car before I fitted the fmic. Very easy to fit, 2 screws and small brackets at the bottom, was like that for nearly 2 years.

SIKAFLEX - BLACK SIKAFLEX-221 - PUR-BK
Either or mate.. They are VERY strong when set, I have used these to bond loads of things in the past.. Just be careful where you get it, as it is a PITA to wash off skin etc..
A mate of mine has an Exige, and this is all Lotus used to fit the mesh to the engine area, so is a permanent fix ! The mesh on that had no more than 1/3rd inch overlay with the trim it was fixed to.
Hope that helps...
