I have removed mine a number of months ago, the best mod I ever did on my scooby
Just wondered if any of you have, then have you had any issues after??

Took mine off, then put it back on with lifters then went back to std on my newage wrx. Didn't really have a favourite just did what I fancied at the time, but quite nice to be able to shut the boot easily with the spolier back on - must remember the triangle trick.

Do i have to post a picture if mine again....LOL.....
BMW rear lip, fits just right in the classis.
I strapped about 2lbs of lead to the inner skin of the boot to stop it ending up on the back seat...LOL

I quite fancy going spoilerless, but don't really want to have to get a bodyshop to fill in 17 feckin holes in the foot lid.
The better option would be to find a WRX boot lid as the have less holes to fill, but I still have the expense of getting it painted, etc.
Not sure whether to do it really.......the standard boot lid and spoiler are also a big lump to store safely!!
WRX boot lid springs would be the answer to the boot flying up I imagine?

I was the 1st person that did this mod, so yes, i 'know' it fits straight on, the width is correct, all i did was slightly alter the curve towards the end, but in reality, i think that that would have been a good enough fit with the sticky tape anyway.,..... i just wanted to make sure it was 100% right before i had it painted.....
