Default has anyone tried/fitted these mini mud flaps?

spotted these on another thread Universal Carbon Fibre Mini Mud-Guards , they look like just what i'm after as i've gone right off the 'big flap' look.

i'd still like to have a little bit of paint protection though, so has anyone seen if these are purely for look, or do they cover the tyre enough to stop the majority of stones going down the side of the car?

Mine just arrived today & look fairly simple to fit I imagine. Though pics look a lot better than actual product. Not 100% happy with quality of finish, but I suppose for £45 its not bad.

when did you order them mate? i assume they were from the guys in the link?

only asking as i emailed them the other day and they've stopped doing them on their new website as they had a few problems with production

can't find them anywhere else, might have to cut down my current ones

I rang them after about 5 dasy & they said they had a few orders & had to manufacture some more thats why there was a delay? Got mine today after about a week of ordering, from Carbonmods. Theyr ok but all over surface have lots of pimples/tiny bubbles which are greyish in colour, allost like laquer clumps sticking up??

that does sound a bit pants, hopefully they don't catch your eye too much when they're on

think i'll have a go at hacking mine up, then chase them up if it goes wrong

£30 is a lot for something that you may find you can get from Subaru cheaper.

ISTR I paid something like £17 for my mini stone guards for my P1.

Very easy to fit, did mine today. Just need to drill holes in correct places in mudflaps which can take time to get right & needs the odd adjusting.

For the fronts I just used the plastic rivet type screws supplied, 3 on each (using existing holes/rivets on wheel arch). For the rears I used one of their screws & a 6mm bolt & nut on top fixing as using just their screws wasnt secure enough. Altogether about 1hr to do, dint need to take wheels off or anyhting
