Default Is this a good price?

Unfortunately after being hit by debris that was on the motorway I need to get my front bumper and bonnet resprayed. Decided that if I was going to get that painted then I may as well replace my spoiler at the same time. Having visited a few local bodyshops the best price I have got is £600 (to respray bonnet, bonnet scoop, front bumper and to spray and fit a new rear spoiler).

Does anyone know if that is a decent price?

Cheers,

Peter

Wink

Might be obvious, but the lowest quote is not always the one to go with.

For that amount of work, I'd be looking at the bodyshop's reputation.

Thanks for the advice - was planning to get another few quotes anyway just so I could get a good comparison. Unfortunately the one that has been recommended is the dearest so far (but am sure they would do a good job).

For £500 I had the following done.

Front end re-spray.
Remove old v3/4 bumper
Fit V5/6 bumper
Paint and fit P1 Splitter
Paint and fit fog light covers
Colour code side skirts and rear skirts
Paint and fit v6 rear spoiler
Paint and blend rear o/s quarter and rear door (to remove scratches and dents)
Paint and blend rear bumper
Paint door o/s door mirror

This basically removed all dents, scratches and marks from my car. You won't even know it's ever seen paint.

Chris,

The bottom half looks a shade darker than the top - is this intentional? - as one would assume two tone cars are a bit 80's.

I had a capri calipso 2 years ago. It had Light blue top half and silver bottom half and it took me 9 months to sell it even with an MOT.

Sleeper.
