Question Facelifting a classic WRX?

Is it possible to use a facelifted grill with a non facelift bumper or do you have to go the whole hog and buy both facelifted parts?? And if so do they just bolt on??

Thanks

Treat a facelift like 2 halves. Top half and bottom half.
Top half being grill / headlamps / bonnet.
Bottom half being the bumper.

So you can facelift the top half and not change the bumper, or facelift the bumper and leave the top half. It doesn't matter.

So it doesn't matter what grill you use with what bumper, they will all fit.

Hope you follow that.

You can first get the head lights then the grill and fit these keeping the old style bonnet as these will fit fine (bonnet will just shut against newer grill ) as i have done this then get the bonnet at a later date . Face lift grill about £20 - £40 secondhand Headlights there are two facelift types the later are the crystal type which cost more got mine for £150 second hand the non crystal maybe about £80. Got the bonnet scoop and vents for £50 second hand (see lots on fleebay) and bonnet £150 brand new from subaru .
hope this helps

Default facelift

I have 99 spec front and rear bumper. crystel facelift headlights , and jun high flow grill (like facelift but less bulkyer) with no facelift bonnet. I thought about getting a bonnet but prefer the older ones they are more smoother and have a flat line where the grill is so it looks more agressive.

ill try and get some photos because it looks awsome in my opinion.

If you just bought facelift lights and a grill it would still look better but the grill will need to be modified slightly to fit well.
