Default Mini Sccop

Just fitted a mini scoop to my beloved as i have an induction kit and FMIC, question i have is, will rain cause any problems via mini scoop? as ther e is nowt beneath scoop.

Keep the blanking plate in the car and fit if weather gets bad, only two nuts, you dont want water getting on your induction kit.
