Question Best Polish??

I am after a really good polish for my Sti (Blue).

The bonnet looks like Mr T buffed it up with his chains

Hi

I had the same problem when using autoglym products - even though I've used them for years on other cars.

I bought swissol - clay bar, cleaner fluid, wax. Its 5 - 6 hours work but the result is excellent (but its not cheap).

Ive had bad experience with Megauirs, leaving bad streaks. Other people may get on with it but i prefer Autoglym.

Meguirs Tech Wax is exceptionally good, gives a deep lustre and is easy to apply and buff - get one of their polishing pads aswell. These allow you to apply the polish more evenly thus preventing some of the streaks you would get using a couple of fingers and cloth.

I have used Mer, Autoglym and various others but I am currently using Zymol and find it very good, their shampoo is top quality also. Available at Halfords

Try www.performanceparts4u.co.uk or www.scoobyworld.co.uk

I'm sure either can supply what you need

Try Zymol Cleaner Wax, goes on with ease and buffs without any powder, removes swirl marks and light scratches and gives a good deep shine. Works well on Japanese soft paint.

6 hours to polish a car!!!!

I get bored after 20 mins - which is probably why I don't have a good finish Would anyone like to come over and demonstrate the correct technique for polishing? I'm sure after watching you do the whole car I will be able to do it myself the next time
