De-tangos and quality.
I'm fitting de-tango front indicators and repeaters. (actually chickened out of the repeaters until the weather's 'plastic warm' rather than 'plastic snap cold').
So far in fitting the indicators I've....
- Kept the original bulb holder and wiring as there's no seal on the replacement wiring connectors.
- Wrapped the edge of the bulb holder in insulation tape to stop it from wobbling and to ensure some sort of seal is made.
- Had to drill out the mounting bolt holes to 4.5mm so I can get the bl**dy mounting bolts in.
- Noticed that the mounting lug isn't as secure as the Subaru part's.
So a 10 minute job has taken me the best part of an hour.
Jeremy.
