It's ampere's not amplifiers.
What you would have to do is wire up a transformer so that the low voltage, high current electric would become low current HIGH voltage.
This could then be fed to the badge. About 22000V would be enough to overcome the internal resistances of the body and give the toe-rag a good elbow thumper.
Steve
DISCLAIMER :- I do not recommend this though as it would mean that you could hurt someone in a pre-meditated way and get sent down for GBH.

I knew that, I was trying to be funny.
Fallen flat on my face again as usual.

I remember a post on here a few weeks back from some unfortunate P1 owenr who reported he metal badge from the rear of his car had gone walkies while he was down watching the Cataluyna rally.
I feel your pain - mine went missing last night whilst in a car park in Whittlesey near Peterborough.
I don't think I'll bother replacing mine at £60 a pop. I think I'll just scrub the remains of the black mounting off and leave the back of the car blank...
I was toying with the idea of seeing if I could wire a new one up to the battery, using the black mount as insulator, so that the next swine who tries is get's fried...
But sod it, it'll still get nicked

I could go the route of the ICE fanatic, and fill the boot with car batteries though
Then again - maybe not....

What you want is a capactor (the very big ones have the ability to dump their entire charge virtually immediately hence why they are used in competition car systems).
Wire a 1 farad (I think thats one of the bid ones) capacitor to your boot badge, and watch him blow a chunk out of his finger, I jest not!

You don't even need that big a capacitor. I touched a charged one from a E110 disposable camera, and that was surprising enough.
You will, of course, return to find all the panels on your car kicked in...

It's probably been dismantled or sold into mechanical slavery on a farm in the Czech Republic by now
