Post Which wax to use?

Can anyone recommend a good wax to use on a metalic scoob? I've been using autoglym but i understand there are much better alternatives around.

What about Limousine wax?

Cool Swissol

Hi Jamie_B,

I bought some Swissol recently (Samurai starter kit) and applied it to my black MY03-STi (gold metallic in the paint).

I'm not impressed

The car is SO clean and shiny it glimmers like glass and now shows up every little dent, no matter how small.
Being a perfectionist I'm now going to have to pay to get them all taken out

Furthermore, I nolonger want to drive the car - just in case it gets dirty

SERIOUSLY - it is most fantastic cleaning system I have ever seen. The car now looks better than the day I took delivery of it.
It is also probably the easiest polish / wax to apply and rub off that I have ever used.
If that isn't enough - your hands will also smell lovely for a week.

The only downside to using Swissol is the price. At first glace it looks very expensive and that is the only thing that ever put me off trying it before - would the shine justify the price??
However, if you are a "regular waxer" then it probably won't work out much expensive in the long run. You actually use so little of the wax, I can see a pot lasting well over a year (wax very two weeks!!!)

I just wish I had discovered this stuff before now.

If someone can tell me how to post piccies or is willing to do it for me then I can show you what you get for your money.

Cheers

Simon

Default Black STi with Swissol

Hopefully these photos will work.

Before Swissol treatment (yes I know it is a disgrace - and that was only one trip to Newquay golf club):

After a couple of hours of Swissol love and attention:

Cheers

Simon

Edited to ask:
Isn't it possible to get the images to show straight up on the BBS?

I have to agree with Simon as I bought the same starter pack. I spent Sunday going through the varioius stages and the results were excellent.
I would definitely recommend the pack as the cleaner fluid really enhances the paintwork before you finish off with the wax.
Then sit back and admire.....
Give Paul a ring and he will advise you further http://www.performanceparts4u.com/about_swissol.asp

Thanks for that recommendation
I am more than willing to discuss the merits of Swissol with anyone with the potential purcher with no obligation to buy
