Does any one know who supples the bonnet scoop to cool the turbo(left side as you look at the car) seen one on a scoob from Isle Of White in Banzi mag looked good and practical too.

Something like this?

if so click me!

Jap-innovations are listed as an MRT vendor/dealer.
MRT makes a nice alloy vent scoop as shown...

if indeed this is what you're after...

I thought their purpose was to act as a direct feed of air, to an induction kit.
Anyway, try Scoobymania they can supply you with the alloy scoop.

Warwick - hunt

Petes don't look too much like these thankfully. They don't have the restrictive "reverse scoop" on them that negates the purpose of the scoop in the first place. (IMHO)

hi oak the middle scoop pictured on the bonnet, was the first one of those made and blanked to be able to make the mould from it, the one on donutmans car under it is how they now look.

if you want to plug your pals parts go ahead but don't have a pop at mine,
i'm the only one to make these for the 95 bonnet, i've got another two different styles gettng moulded now , one for the 99 so that will make 4 different style in total and another for the 95,

if petes are so good put a picture on and let everyone see the choices availables.

the reverse scoop feed's the air to the filter, the filter is not directly under the vent hole (near it)so it's helping to direct the air to it ,but if you do not want the bottom scoop on do what i did and cut it off or can you not use a hacksaw, but least i have choice not like the mrt one

You obviously have no idea what Pete does !!

DJ73 - My filter is directly under the vent therefore I didn't want one with the bit underneath. So naturally purchased one without. Also yes, I can use a hacksaw when the need arises.

heres some of the scoops i'm busy doing at the minute,
the first one is for the 95 bonnet, its not quite ready yet but you can get the idea of the style
the other beige one has been made for the 99 bonnet and is slightly higher and more rounded on the top than the one on donutmans car, on the 1st page of this thread. both will have a raised STI logo on when finished.

the white one someone send me last week to make a mould for them,
it has the prodrive logo on the top, its very similar to mine and i think it was styled on mine, he got it from abroad and i sold 10 scoops to the same company two months ago,

i don't want to put prodrive on my scoops but on these two new ones i will be putting a sti logo on.

if anyone has a new design and wants it made send me a picture and i'll make it

nice job fundi,
i hadn't seen donutmans car the other night when i put my post on, i must have scrolled past it, i wasn't having a go like scoobylav, (IMHO)

lol at your comment
Not having a pop at yours merely defending a potentially libellous comment.
defending a potentially libellous comment by making your own. your not a solicitor are you, thats not a question BTW

i think ets and mro are real assets to scoobynet as you are the only manufacturers who make a lot of new designs from scratch,

scoobylav how much was your scoop, can you put a picture on, and can you open the bonnet to let us see underneath, also can anyone put a picture on, with the bonnet up with a mrt one fitted,

oi stuart i didn't know you've started doing the pre 96 ones,

i'll change my original statement to "i was the first one to make these for the 95 bonnet",

if anyone reading has a pre 96 bonnet, damaged or not, let me know, i'm going to make a higher centre scoop next.

Fundi,

I'll have to dispute that one as well, as I've been doing mine for years now, started with my own car about 3 1/2 years ago, then started making them for other people when they asked. I did my own cos MRT were only doing ones for 97 onwards and I have a my94 WRX

cheers stuart,
i think its good that theres a few places making different style scoops, it gives people more options,

as far as who done them first, it doesn't matter, i only put my comments on in response to scoobylav, who was trying to put my parts down so he could promote his friend techno pete,

happy christmas
