Just seeing if there is any interest in the Morrette Look-alike. ZippyEFC has already ordered some and they look very good in my opinion and a huge saving on Morrettes. Delivered to your door aiming on a price under £100.

If you are INTERESTED please post here under 2 categories. Face lift/Pre-facelift.

Yes count me in, 95 pre face lift, can you explain why they are so much cheaper than a set of morrettes, is it just the quality or is it just the name morrette, that incurs the extra cost????
cheers Kev

Zippy, you can get the prefacelift ones to fit the bonnet from the suppliers directly.

Quality is excellent and finish.

Jon, where you going to get them under £100 mate?

I looked into this in the US but by the time you added the import cost, vat and especially the shipping (which is absolutely stupid money), figure wasnt nice

Hey Jon,

Who painted them for you.

If you can secure these for under £100 and can get a decent price for Silver 406 paint then I'm well up for this.

Have we managed to get wiring instructions sorted and the issue on the beam placements yet ?

Question

Wiring not difficult, see my post on electrical.

The only thing that would put me off these would be that you only have ONE set of main beams, not two like on Morettes, as the outer lights are single filament bulbs.

Question

Zippyefc, if I were to buy these, could I then get a later grill to sort out the gap problem????? So rather than my 95 grill, what would be the correct year/grill I could buy that would eliminate the gap? Or would the bonnet then be a problem?
Cheers Kev.

Not 100% sure but i think you may find that these lights are not E marked and could cause you a problem at MOT time ,a m8 brought some of these and sent them back for that reason

Mine aren't E marked but it takes 20 mins to change them back to standard for the MOT if it fails,so i'm not bothered.

If they are around £100 or a little less I may be interested in a facelift set.

I am interested in a pair for a pre-facelift.
CustomScoobyIOM do you have any pics since you colour coded them, I have a silver WRX and wouldn't mind seeing what they look like painted.
