bodystyling:

Ive been looking about and tend to agree i think mate, no one does them, mro sports do a nice bonnet, and carlton do a cool front bumper, I might just see what i can find and see what happens.

has anyone used halfords paint yet? they do a nice candy looking one.

A mate that helped me with my bm has already said he will help which is nice cus he has a massive workshop, and he builds paris dakar vehicles so i trust him in a big way!!!

nemesis sells that bodykit and it costs about £2500-3000 and it is made of fibreglass. I think that the website is www.nemesis.co.uk or something like that if you are interested

hi all thanks for your replies.

I have found one, and yes its £3400 fitted and respray included.

lot of cash! A guy down here thinks he can reproduce it, so I make go for that option, he builds rally dakar vehicles, so I know he can do the job, its just going to be how much???

I may just go for the respray after all this, it so much to do it aint it?!?

that site is really good cheers.

as for the bodykit, he will be using the pictures, and my original front and rear bumpers and making a mould of the side skirts, hes having the car as of 1st jan.

ile keep you updated, hes going to let me know an approx b4 then.

the web site is crap i agree i only just looked on it. the pics of all roaders on there are ones hes built apparantly. last year he built a mid engined corsa with impreza running gear for a rally project, and that was mean!! ive got some pics somewhere ile dig them out.

Cool

I havent any decent pictures of the Bomex kit on me car, still not got round to it.

Theres some dodgy looking pics taken way back in feb on my profile.
Very true about the Bomex kit though, the front bumper is just so unpractical, within three weeks of getting the car, I had to take it off for fear of ripping it off.
There wasnt a lot left of the underside when I sold the bumper.
The rest of the kits not too bad though, down to personal tastes, though its grown on me.

I used to own one of the silver Veilside WRX's.
Mine was on display at one of the Tokyo Auto Salons about 5yrs ago.I know this because Veilside told me when i enquired about the car & they told me from the cars jap reg details.
I owned it for a year & found the bodykit to be very flimsy & the front splitter got damaged several times, once was 2 days before Northern Big One & there are photo's on here somewhere of my car with the damaged splitter at the show.
I sold it to Vine Place in Chliton in February this year & it's kicking around the area somewhere.
It's identical to the Silver photos you have above & i'll put some photos up if i can find them.
Nice looking kit & turns heads like you driving a U.F.O. but i wouldnt buy another.
