recently purchased new rear spoiler(big one).Has anyone used the plug connection from the original one,if so did you actually split it to remove and reglue or just cut wires further back ?

cut the wires and used solder and heatshrink when re joining them. after all you dont have to remove the spoiler on a weekly basis.

I cut the wires, and used a screw connector, sometimes called a chocolate bar.
After all, the current it's carrying is very small.
I taped it up, and out of the way too.
