I really really want to paint my car pink! Like the colour of my crash helmet....
Ideally I would love it to have the rainbow glitter too but I would settle for a mid sparkle.
Now the question is this... would I be looked upon as a scooby rapist? My husband says Im mad I have always wanted a pink car since I ditched my pink polka-dot 1947 Raleigh Rudge 15 years ago.
Shall I?
Serious answers only please... this could set me back £5k

anywhere that sprays car will give you a quote but the difference between a cheap and an expensive job is phenominal! try and take your time about it. go to as many car shows as possible and have a good look at the cars which been re-sprayed. if you can get someione that knows a good paint job too, all the better. then just ask where the owner of the car had it done. if your gonna be spending a good couple of grand on it you obviously want it done right. if you can you could go into a tvr showroom and ask them where theyn would recommend. as their cars are made of fiberglass a lot of people would probably have wanted a fairly good job done of repairing them and painting them.

i would think the best place not too far from you is dawsons in wimborne. they have done some really good cars and specialise in metal flakes, chromaflair etc.

Definatly It'll suit you - and that's the most important thing for a car
(Just don't use Strides of Botley, IMHO, a bit far for you anyway, but just incase you think of it )

Brilliant
you go girl
Can I make a suggestion? Well, I'm gonna make it anyway
This would be a superb stunning and wonderful way to raise awareness of breast cancer as you've already said.
How about agreeing to put 10-20% of the cost of painting your car in for yourself and relying on the donations for the other, with all excess going to charity, and also having the slogan of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer url=http://www.breakthrough.org.uk/docs/fashiontargets/display.asp?pid=3[/url] on there?
Rejig the way it's presented a little bit and I think you could have a massive, massive success on your hands that'll get your car painted and do something wonderful for charity.
I'd guess that quite a lot of people on here would cough up quite a lot it if they can see some going to charity...
Whaddayathink?
Cheers,
Nick.

I have already made an agreement to send the donations to the Breast Cancer Campaign, another uk charity for breast cancer. I already sport their logo on the site
I have something up my sleeve that might mean they get all the donations

Not sure if this is someone from scoobynet.. but he sure cracks me up
The tone of your email strikes me that your jealous..
Firstly I am not a slag, and secondly I am not a loser. I am merely travelling down entrapaneureal avenues.
Thank you for taking the time to write me... It's always nice to get feed back - especially negative feedback. It will give me something to laugh about during the day

LOL - yours looks like a round tractor! Not that Im being rude, just my observation. Nothing sleek about your monstrosity! You really should hear yourself. You are jealous and displaying bitterness.
Get over it. I knew you were young from the tone of your voice. Luckily you have years to mature and tame your temper. Now behave like a good little boy and stop irritating me
Kind regards,
Karen x
Oh - I forgot to attach his car. Kids LOL
Personally, I think my rear end looks better

i'm not jealous of your car at all, my car turns a hell of a lot more heads
than yours ever will, and most of all, i paid for it and didn't soak off
people like some kind of sponge.
please find attatched a picture of my car, its better than your every day
mundane mobile. oh yeh, by the way im only 18 and i spent 2 years building
it and i paid for it all.
so there im not jealous!
your car sucks!
the only thing good bout it is the flat four engine (like mine) aside from
that it looks like poo!
a freind of my parents has one and even he said it looked hideous!
no hard feelings though, eh?
seeing as my cars better than yours, i could have painted it metalflake pink
but i thought id look like a tosser.

...But you're biased!
If you have some money left over, you have to follow Chiark's advice and get the interior done. Dash and door cards in pink/purple flock...
Not my cup of tea, but it'll go much better with the exterior than grey...

I would love to really know why you would want to paint a really nice car PINK as i think your requests for money are very cheeky of you because the people who have already given you money should go get the heads examined!!!!!!!! This will now also be a marked car i hope you know so i would watch yourself around bournemouth.
