Thumbs up

Yes mate, just change the bonnet, lights, grill and bumper. Wings are the same.

Job done

That sounds like a pain in the ***! Are the light fitments all the same? Are there any other issues or is it quite a simple swap?

I'm not so sure the wings are the same. Where the wing meets the light - on the pre-facelift it's curved, on the MY03 it's much straighter.

Get some Morettes!!

He's talking about a classic, but yes, the MY03 front wings are different to the MY01/02

I've done this on my UK MY96 Turbo, steps are as follows:

1. Remove grill
2. Remove headlights
3. Remove bonet
4. Bolt on replacement bonet
5. Bolt in and connect replacement headlights
6. Clip new grill back into place

You will find the bonet catch is a bit trickier to open after the conversion but otherwise sweet as.

I was under the impression there was a problem with the scoop-->intercooler arrangement in this swap - is this not the case?

Do bumpers swap over from new classic --> old classic?
