How does it attach to the car, looks good, how did you make it, i seen a car in maxpower once and they made a bumper and wings from clay is that how you do it, if it is its tons of work. DD

Hi DD,
It uses all the original mounting points in the same way as the original bumper. Hell of a lot of rubbing down!

midlife crises, sorry i wouldn't be in a group buy, i really like the bumper but i've haven't got £400 spare at the minute, i was just interested to know how it was made as the one i seen in maxpower took weeks and was made from clay that was shaped on the car, it looks a really good fit,

Rob i've been reading some threads about GRP and one said make sure the (in this case) spoiler is properly sealed before painting so the bubbles don't occur, How do you do that, is it something the body shop does or the person buying it,

Hi,
Basicaly, when moulding it up, if there is areas where the gel coat was missed, or the fibres were not wetted properly, then this could cause a problem. Shouldnt realy happen though, its not an inherent problem with all GRP parts. Cant realy comment on the other threads as I dont know how good the GRP was or the paint.
Cheers. Rob.
