Thinking of changing my rear spoiler to somthing a little bigger,
how many types of scooby spoilers are out there and does any one have any pics?
Cheers..

Try www.mroscoobystyling.com and also TSL motorsport and JWracing. They all do larger spoilers.

Dan how easy was it to fit? What did it cost to paint too?

Once I get my toy and get a spoiler and get it painted and bring it over will you put it on for me if I buy you a Macdonalds?

Spoiler was about £220..!! painting cost me £130... my mum helped me fit it..!! she is good like that..

The trick to fit it was:

First off you identify the kit that comes with the spoiler well it did with mine...

It does fit the original holes but i had to drill 2 more as the spoiler arched in the middle..

With the kit will be some plastic things that you fit into the holes on the spoiler, i applied double sided tape to the plastic things so when you put it into position and then remove the spoiler again they will be left in position so you can drill the holes...

I applied some double sided sponge tape around the rim of the spoiler base so that it didnt vibrate and made a good seal to prevent leakage..

When i had the spoiler in position i drew round it so i could fit it back into place each time i was lining up the holes in the boot and spoiler..

pffft... coward

Its for a bug eye, maybe they actually fit the holes... I'll check before I buy - I want something that bolts straight on, not really prepared to pepper the lid. BUT - Im not prepared to pay £200 more NOT to drill the boot. How much is a spare boot lid I wonder

Yes Warwick i've just been making these duckling pedalos you could have one of these duck heads for your bonnet, you'll get noticed, maybe add some leds in the beak, judging by your e mails to me i know you'll see the funny side and judging by your e mails you'll probably want one.

edited because i forgot to add the ducking picture

Most of the larger dealers are out of stock until mid-April. Except for DRMotorsport, and he can't accept credit cards at ther mo.
I got mine from GradeASubaru. Ordered Weds Tea time, it was in the house by 0915 next day!
Looks good quality too, and the guy who's painting it agreed.

I got it from a bloke who used to post on here from holland it was £220 all in from holland, he only had 2 and i bought it about a year ago..!!!

Derek at etsracing@currantbun.com sells the same spoiler made by lester i think..

Its smaller than all the other V5 spoiler sold by other companies this is why i wanted it.

Dan
