Hi Rob, had a bad one the other day chipped the front of my lovely Air-dam that you made me. Was wondering if you could give me some advise on how to go about repairing it i have included a pic so you can see. It is about 2-3mm deep and you can see how big in size.
I am really pi***d off with myself for letting it happen, my own fault you see playing about on a forestry track.
Hope you can help me.
Cheers James.

Hi James,
Bit of a shame that mate, at least you sound like you were having fun
Easy to repair if you want to get the lip resprayed, just using car body filler, and wet+dry (thats what I use in the finishing process to remove any small air pockets, etc.)
If you dont want to respray, then I would mask off around the damage, apply some filler and try to get it to the correct shape before it hardens fully with a stanley knife blade, then wet rub it to shape with 600 grade, not too hard though, dont go through the masking tape, then touch up with touch up pen.
Thats about all you can do without respray im afraid.
Hope this helps.
Rob.

Thanks Rob, I will give it a go when i get chance, i haven't got the foggiest when it comes to bodywork repairs, or spraying so that advise is spot on for me, plus the guy who lives next door (just moved in) used to be a paint sprayer.
Cheers James.
P.S You were right i had great fun in the forestry track but me fog covers came of too so had to get them re-sprayed also. Never mind ehhh
