Hi all,
I want to improve the look of my front end on a MYOO classic as the title of my thread says which of these would anyone reccomend, and do the different ones do different things ? The one that takes my fancy initially is the air-dam i have seen a nice pic of one at MRO Styling, the lip spoiler looks a tad small and i can't work out what the front skirt is Does anyone on here have any pics they could post to help me as i live a bit of the beaten track in North Wales and it would be a long trip to go and have a look in different places.
The one i really fancy is on Takakaira in Japans website it is the one in the picture for Toyo Proxes T1-S in True Grip on the first page.
The price isn't bad about £150 if i remember right but the p+p and shipping is nearly as much again
I would be gratefull for any help.
James

Hi,
Have a look at the new p1 style front splitter from www.drmotorsport.co.uk looks pretty good..!
You can also get the genuine STI version 6 splitter from your local subaru dealer for about £96 + VAT...

If you can afford it go for a genuine part mate. I'm only saying this coz the replica sti front spoiler I bought the other day looked like Ray Charles had produced it. It took me quite a lot of work to get it in a condition to spray and when I had it in primer I went to trial fit it to the car and it was miles out (loads more work), looks good now.
Guess what I'm trying to say is get the best quality you can afford coz if you just buy it and give it to a bodyshop certain spoilers are gonna need a lot of man hours & therefore money spent on them.
I'll email you who I got mine from if you want to avoid?
p.s. does anyone know the price of an sti spoiler (as the silver one above) genuine? I payed £115 + vat for my work of art

Hi Jan-Eric,
Thanks very much you are a star i have been trying to find out who sold this lip spoiler for weeks only found Takakaira in japan but delivery was £160 . What sort of quality was this when you got it i.e did it need more work or did it just need spraying? and did it fit o.k or was it difficult. Bit worried about buying from outside U.K in case quality isn't up to much.
thanks again, James

i bought mine from fundimental, e-mail etsracing@currantbun.com its fits perfect, all it had to have done was flatted down and painted, my mates just bought a WRC bumper for £195 +P&P from him fitted straight on, isn't it great when they fit on with no hassle.

Hi Scoobyfella!!
The spolier was in great condition when it arrived, need NO other work then spraying and fitting!
You fit it in 5-15 minutes!
It come in this condition:
You fit it by removing the two clips that tie the front bumper to the inner plastic in the wheel house. (Sorry, I lack the correct terms in English)
Fit the lipspoiler and put the clips back (through the spoiler, who has one hole on each side)
The instruction (who came in japanese) suggest that you use a dubble adesive in the front, but I skipped this becouse an other person who have this front lip in Sweden have only fited it with the clips and says it is OK even at speeds of 220km/h.
See this page for more info: http://www.solace.mh.se/~el302/subaru/spoiler.html (In Swedish)
However if you buy from Nipponpower you might need to arrage for teh transport yourself, becouse teh box is too big to send with UPS (which Nipponpower want to do), DHL is too freking expesive, so I went with Expiditors ( http://www.expeditors.com/x/Index.html )and arrage for transport with them myself. Work very good.
The price for me was:
Frontspoiler SEK 2420:-
Freight, Customs and VAT SEK 3146:-
I.e. about £370:- in total. (+the paintjob)
