Can i have a little group therapy session on which companies make sti6 spoilers and what the verdict is please as im looking to get one and dont know where to start.

I would like to know the following :-
1. quality?
2. fitting?
3. supplied painted?
4. brake light colour?
5. Does it have the little plastic piece under the brake light or is it a hole? (like some of the 5 replicas ive seen)

and some pics please, oh and some links would be nice

have had one reply and that was offline as the owner didnt want to post on the bbs. That says volumes about the quality of aftermarket spoilers lol.

me too looking for an STi6 spoiler. been looking into different makes etc. and from what ive heard about the replicas on the market i am going to wait a while for a second hand genuine sti5 or 6 to come up for sale. it wasnt all bad though some of the makes have had good reports, but on the downside ive seen paint flaking and at high speed the spoiler bending and flapping!

will be interested to know what people recommend...

well i've heard and read conflicting reports about nearly every make you could suggest tbh which is quite worrying.

Only company i havent looked at yet is tsl, might have to give them a call and see what the score is, also MRT seem to have a better than average reputation but it costs a fair bit more plus have import + taxes to pay etc.

Paint quality doesnt bother me as it will get repainted anyway, so thats down to the bodyshop.Flapping about in the wind doesnt sound good tho lol.
As for a genuine one, thats scary territory, sold one for a friend a few weeks ago (sti5 one) for £450 that he paid over 800 new for!!

Hi mate

tell you what.... i'm that confident of the quality of the spoiler in it's unpainted form.... If you buy one when they are back in stock in a week or two.. you can not only send it back at my expense for a full refund but I will even buy you lunch if you pop in and see us!! .. seriously.

In all honesty not all the aftermerket spoilers we sell are this quality "out of the box".. but these are quite beautifully made. happy to offer a no quibble money back offer for that very reason. We have never had one back yet

Hope that helps

Cheers

i did check your site and noticed there wasnt a 6 option, and seeing as i had a 5 prevoously seems a bit daft just to get the same thing

Its a very gracious offer, and if you don't mind ill forward that to others i see requesting sti5 spoilers.... You can still buy me lunch if we ever meet tho

(boy is he gonna regret that or what!)
