Have asked my dealer to get an STi (stars) "cherry red" grill badge in for me but now see that I can get a blue one from aftermarket dealers.

My question is - is the blue badge designed especially for WR Blue or would it go with my DBM?

Alternatively should I just put the cherry red one on to make it stand out a bit more?

I just bought a sports grille that has a blue stars badge on it. Here's the pic of it (Not my car though!) and it looks suited to WR Blue if you ask me?

I already have a pink stars one so might sell it (The blue one!)dependin on whether I like it or not?

Cheers

Nick MY01 WR Blue

Have to disagree with Nick on this one. Sorry M8.

The photo is misleading, the badge is actually darker than that. I have a blue 'I' badge on my MY01 and it looks a lot darker. Its somewhere in between WR and DBM.

I have a blue stars badge for sale at the moment if you want it? £15.00 inc registered P+P.

I was trousered by Paul at TSL.

They are the genuine STI covers and look great in the flesh. Also bought TSL wing vents and indicators.

Baby Blue sorry for the minor hijack.

Cool

Why not take your badge off, strip the paint off the back, using Wickes paintbrush cleaner, then repaint in whatever colour takes your fancy.
Easy as 1,2,3.

BB, I have a stars badge that I have removed the black back paint, leaving the stars in silver.

I was going to get around to painting it, but havent.

If you want, you could have it for £15.

Cool

You don't want paint, you want carbon:

You know it makes sense. Mail me if you're interested.

hades

That looks wicked m8!

Unfortunately for you have already purchsed the blue one above and fitted it!

How did you manage the carbon look? Could try that with my original black badge - just to see.

Wink

That's done with genuine carbon, moulded onto the front half of the badge. You just need carbon mat, the right resin and someone who knows what they're doing with the moulding.
