Ah that kind, as posted above salsa will probably know. I just have mine on seperate swtiches.

I just have them wired direct to battery so they can be turned on and off independant of the cars main lights via a couple of illuminated switches, nothing as complicated as what your after

I connected mine to the indicator feed so that the car gives a green underbody flashes for turning left and red flashes for right. I fitted mirrors (highly polished aluminium actually) reflecters underneath them to increase their output and make the car look like it was floating on a sea of red or green flashing lights!
