Whoever they are should be dropped from the England team with immediate effect. Even if it's a United player, there is no place for snidey B******s in the dressing room.

As for the **** house that is the Sun the FA should ban them from all future training sessions and pre/post match conferences. Typical British press always looking to bring someone down, they should be right behind the team at this juncture but no they'll take any bit of dirt they can find and print it. it amazes me how the FA, ECB, RFU for example dont just tell these people to F off as all they do is look for the negative and show our national teams in a bad light whenever they can

The reporter, a Mr Smart who does the "Bizarre" section was interviewed on Talk Sport and he said the player came directly to him, not a family member, not an advisor but the player himself, Smart said and was p1ssed off and has since spoken to him again and said he is still p1ssed off by the FA's stance since the story broke.

The fact the player goes to the entertainment correspondant of the Sun says it all for me, the tw*t thinks he's a celeb and not a footballer.

Seriously how can any proper minded person take that as racism, the last thing we want is another JT type issue with poison in the dressing room.

The only offence that can be taken from it is , that the other players were beneath him and only there to give him the ball (the context of the joke , and the point Roy was making by saying it) as in "feed the monkey"
If any other animal had been used in the space program (and in turn used in the joke) Roy would have said it in the team talk.

I don't know if this story is going to go away and think it's probably best the player comes forward. Ashley Cole has already been cornered into denying it was him, I would imagine there will be similar denials from more players as the days go by. When/if the player is identified, then he shouldn't be included in the squad. Racist or not, offended or not, only an absolute brain donor would think the best course of action would be to go to the editor of the Sun

I buy The Sun to read at work ('cos it's a cheap paper, not as dumbed down as The Star, lower blood pressure than reading the Daily Mail etc. etc.) and noticed that tw@t has gone from the Bizarre thing now, replaced by two wannabe socialites.
