Default England poor again...

tip-tapping it sideways and backwards.
the Montenegrans get it, Wham! Wham! Wham! it's in England's penalty area.

What did we do apart from the first 6 minutes?

And what the HELL does Hodgson see in Welbeck? HE gave the MN player the ball to fire home....

And did nowt else.

WHY won't England players run at defences????

England always seem to be a 'team' of individuals each striving (or not ) for their own glory,

Bit like french rugby side this year - there's always excuses

In fairness, Wellbeck is a good player - at least when he plays for United.
But like all the good players England have, they struggle to play at a team.

I couldn't believe the hesitancy, the number of sideways and backwards passes we made, just like under MCLaren.

And NO-ONE we have seems to want to run at opponents with the ball

ignoring england for a mo, how come they get away with so much bad behaviour form the crowd? evey time an england player went near the touch line he was pelted with objects, ok mostly paper, but even so.

Dreadful, seems further east you go , into previously Russia the worse it gets. ?

On the team, what actually else would expect from a lot of overpaid pansies

They are actually rated 4th in the FIFA rankings believe it or not .

Hodgson would be rated very poorly I would suspect though - He is and always has been scared to lose . I know this from his time at Fulham .

tbh i dont think they deserve there ranking palce mate, i think thats the whole issue, they have odd games where they do well, but most of the time there second rate, monts are what 20? yet england were lucky not to loose.

When is the elephant in the room going to be discussed within the England set up ? i.e. who tells Gerrard he is a shadow of his former self and it's time for him to be dropped, a bit of a toughy as he is the captain.

England looked very ordinary in the 2nd half sadly, after some recent performancxes where they'd looked like a team.

A good point made on the radio yesterday, how many of the current England side would get into the 1996 Euros Team ?

None in my opinion and none would have got into the 1990 WC team either. we just dont have those quality players any longer.

every team, no mater what country or even what sport, goes through good and bad patch of quality of players. Just becuase a team won something at one point in history doesnt mean there any good now. I think were just in a lean period and most of the england sporting teams get hyped over and above there ability. Only team thats at its peak at the min is the GB cycling team,m they are kicking ***

I think Hodgson is the main problem here; he should have made a change or maybe 2 at half time. Gerrard was terrible, Welbeck wasnt much better and it was a poor choice that Lampard was involved from the start.
