NZ vs ENG
Tests start next Tuesday, and we've already won the 20/20 and ODI series.
I'm hoping Root gets in the test team, looked an exceptional talent in the ODI's, reminds me of when Pietersen came on the scene. Plays with no fear and an air of confidence, I'd like to see how he goes in the test arena.

Should be, nailed on even.
Did you see the Aussies humiliation in Hydrebad properly spanked, another white wash in the summer is on the cards as well, they were ****e against a poor India side

A good solid come back, on a dead pitch
I also noticed how the camera's were still picking up on this fellow, up until 10 months ago he was affectionally known as Jimmy Savile but on every ocassion he appeared on screen none of the commentators said a word, seriously needs a new nickname

The Aussies preparations for the Summers Ashes are going very well
A bit harsh imo but may the team harmony continue

Mind you our preparations for the double ashes are hardly going to plan as yet!

you've got to love a 5 hour stint at the bat with only 56 runs to show for it. Is Finn actually Peter Such in disguise
I'm not worried, still think it will be an easy win for us overall.
Apparently the authorities are investing betting irregularities in Australia. someones put money on the convicts to win the Ashes

I went to bed at 00:30, when he was on 73, woke to find he didn't get any further
Prior doing the biz again and those two wickets from Broad have turned this on it's head although rain is forecast for Sunday, need to get them out and make them follow on.

For all it's faults, how exciting was the first test? It had it all didn't it. Bad weather, dreadful 1st innings, heroic batting by NZ, great last stand by Finn.

The weather didn't help did it
At least it gave me the chance to see that knock from Dhawan against AUS, stunning stuff, some great shots they just couldn't bowl to him, totally at one with the ball, on debut as well, crazy.

What a dire series this has been. Duff pitches and bad weather makes watching test series in NZ a thoroughly uninspiring prospect.
No spin, no bounce, no swing absolutely nothing ZZZZZzzzzzz

I went to bed thinking Bell and Prior could do it but resigning myself to it only being a dream and woke up to an astonishing result. Looking forward to watching the highlights today.
Despite that highly unlikely finish we should never have been in that position against one of the weakest test sides in the first place. We win a series in India but then struggle against NZ, something went very wrong with the preparations for this series. Not the sort of message we want to send out before an Ashes Summer. They need to convincingly win the 2 home tests against NZ weather permitting to head into the Ashes series with confidence.

We did well to get away with the draw !! Prior is a gem of a player
"7", I think we should stop tipping white washes for the next 12 months
