Top manager too. I cannot imagine they will get anyone better. He must be gutted. I wonder who will be next?

Don't know what it is but he hasn't really done much at Sunderland considering he's done well at every other club he's been at?

He didn't do much at Villa, Dunk, other than spend loads of money.

Did well at Leicester, and it would be hard to not do well at Celtic.

David Milliband walks out of second job in a week after Di Canio's appointment


It should be interesting to watch his relegation battle unfold, not many easy games for him, I can a visit to the stands in at least one match, all that said he is a character and I for one look forward to his tenure.

i would say he was a top manager (villa in top 6 couple of years)

if he was still a top manager Sunderland would not be in the position they are you can blame players but its his job to get the best out of them
