I would think that he would spend most of the cash on Vicks Sinex, he has a fricking great hooter. Not the worlds most over rated player, but hopefully the straw that breaks the Camel's back. The wages crossing the 500k a week level should spark FIFA into action where wages are concerned.

I'm glad someone else agrees, I think he is one of the most over rated players there is and would be pissed off if he signed for my team for 50k a week
What would the transfer fee be, and how the hell would you move him on if things didn't work out
City are yet to sign a world class player yet IMO.

IMO he's worth about £500 a week.
Corrected.

Only City are dumb enough to spunk a huge amount of money on that duffer. The big Spanish and Italian clubs must be delighted now that they can offload their rubbish at super-inflated prices to Man City.
Fergie's right: City are insane. Take this as an example: City are on the verge of signing James Milner for between 25 - 30 million. At the same time Real Madrid have just signed 21 year-old German World Cup star Mesut Ozil from Werder Bremen for 12 million. That's even Arsenal money!
So who's getting the value?
**************
Edit: just read that Fergie recently splashed out 7.4 million on someone he's never even see play on telly, yet alone live! So it looks like the Manchester madness is catching!

Ozil- another player Madrid have stole off Man United.....
Im a big footy fan and defend most things said about footy but As to 500k per week.... thats shocking! Government are rubbing there hands there me thinks!!
FA should put a world cap on wage's, the prem lge wouldnt lose the best players to other leagues as they will be in same boat with wage cap! simples

The rumour is that Ozil's now on Euro 5 million per year = about 80 grand Sterling per week (presumably with less tax though). That's pretty much par for the course for upper echelon Premiership players these days and certainly less than the likes of John Terry, Wayne Rooney etc. So even if Arsenal wouldn't afford it, then quite a few other English teams could have.

We used to talk of footballers' pay in terms of annual salaries like everyone else.
IIRC it was the much trumpeted 42k per week that the all-left-foot "White Feather" Fabrizio Ravenelli was purported to be on, when he left Turin for the bright lights of Middlesbrough's industrial skyline, that pretty much changed all that. Boro still got relegated though.

Couldn't or wouldn't? It's the same old story at "Wage Structure Wenger Towers".
