Calm down, its only his ankle and would imagine a couple of weeks as it only looks like a strain or twist

looks like ligaments and if so then it's never a couple of weeks. I'd guess that's his season over for United. Maybe 2 months before he plays again.

i have a radical wish, i need Rooney out of action so Tevez can catch him up in the goal charts and then last game Tevez can score 2 or more to relegate West Ham
of course Rooney goes to world cup and does the bizz along with Carrick Ferdinand etc etc

The Chelsea gods must be smiling - that's probably him out for the rest of the premiership, but back in time for world cup. I'd prefer it the other way around (being Irish

With Rooney - England lift the World Cup ..... without him we will be as utterly useless as the Irish

How can you determine it 'looks like ligaments'? When you posted it, he was probably still showering.

Other than a break, pretty much any ankle injury is ligament damage and a break would usually damage ligaments anyway.

And at that time we knew it was ankle problems because.................?
Does that include the Achilles ligament?

erm because of the repeated slow motions of what happened showed him going over on his ankle.
Achilles 'tendon' connects the calf muscle to the heel ( i'm pretty sure it's not attached to the ankle although not 100%) and going over on your ankle will hardly ever damage it.
