Who will win Euro 2008?
Ive got Germany (the bookies favourites) and Sweden in the work sweepstake. Fancy a flutter on Portugal though as think they will take it this year.

I quite fancy Spain this time around - if they click, they'd be fairly unstoppable. I know they suffer the same as we do in big tournaments, but on paper, they've got class all over the pitch and should, at least, make it to a semi final.

Sticky Italians to go far at least, they always start off bad and play crap, but grind out results.
Spain are a good side but full of individuals, Germany are a workmanlike team, Croatia could well be the suprise, and Russia with Hiddink in charge could go far.
Always so hard to tell tbh.

Germany will win - They've got the easiest route to the final and they'll be the tournaments top goalscorers aswel.
Got Portugal in the works sweepstake so i'm quite happy with that - They played well last night

I have France in the sweep, they looked woeful, no different to the last WC, cant see them doing it myself, Portugal looked very sloppy at the back at times yesterday, shoved a few more ££ on Spain, never discount that German lot though.

Hats off to Netherlands - awesome display last night. Thats how football should be played - none of this playing to the whistle dribbling into the corner flag. All out attack attack and taking the world champions and runners up on and drilling them with some spectacular goals.
Robben looked unbeatable with his pace. That solo goal was just insane to score over the keepers head from so close. Everyone seems to like them as well - they must be the brazil of the euro's

Turkey or Russia could be a good underdog shout like Greece 4 years ago. Turks have had so much luck but Russia could cause an upset today

The russians were different gravy against Sweden the other night, they're getting stronger as each game passes, I think tonights game will be closer than a lot of people expect, like I said in the other thread I fancy the winner of this match to go on and win the tournament.

How bloody good were Russia? However they are not a European country so I still don't get why they are playing in the European Championship, might as well invite Brazil, Japan and Australia Will be a joke if they win it, a non European country wins the European Championship
