Boro's last Trophy was the Carling Cup and were UEFA Finalists in 2006 ... looks MUCH better than anything NUFC can muster

err.. Graham Taylor, Pete... yes, for our sins.. old Turnip head was 'our' gaffer before England... and the only thing thats 'held us back' is old Deadly Doug (Ellis) ..now hes gone. we have a cracking manager , the best team spirit and blend of youth coming through the ranks.. and Im really hoping YOU are using the term *MANAGER* loosely...after the debacle of Wednesday night and the rot he had already set in beforehand..at least our old manager GOT US to a 'finals' ..what s Macs record? 18 games 9 win 5 loss 4 draws.. even with my ****e math , 50% win-rate is not good enough (although possibly slightly better than Turnips 47.4%.. hence HIS sacking, too )


Oh, and just as an aside to this petey, old boy.. your quip about distant history.. at least we HAVE SOME !!
