am pleased too, sounds like Sc*m got a result with stupid madrid paying over the odds for an average left back.

Who knows what Rafa saw in him other than cover for Abeloa.

there's a buy out clause of 6.8m, so madrid go and over another 1.2? to quote rafa, "unbelievable".

Whats happend to that Italian left back who played for U21's ? supposed to be **** hot.

He's off his trolley, lad.

"I want to ask the Premier League why it was so difficult for Liverpool to sign Javier Mascherano, when we had to wait a long time for the paperwork, but it was so easy for Carlos Tevez to join Manchester United?"

What planet is he on?

think henize will be best suited to slower pace of spanish league.

Giorgio Chiellini? Still on the shopping list I guess as he can play LB and CB which is exactly what Rafa wants. Juve obviously are fighting to keep him there.

Heinze was a yard short of pace after his injury and he never got it back, admitedly great in the tackle but £8m, what a steal, he was good back up for Evra but when that sort of money is on the table you take it.

One person who must be laughing his spuds off is Silvestre, once an LFC target, can we interest you boys

Rafa's losing the plot, all his shenanigans with Maureen have fried his brain, so he starts attacking Utd now , he must remember he's up against the grand master, any more whinging from Rafa and Wenger will have to hand over his crown

Right...so Rafa has been nice and relaxed about the whole situation?

Either way, I bet you'll not be laughing when you're found guilty of making an illegal approach for him.

Most of the Anfield season ticket holders I know have the kahunas to confirm that Henize would have strolled into Liverpools first team, hence the massive and possibly illegal effort to sign him by their manager.
I am glad he has gone now after his publicised behaviour around the transfer coupled with the fact that Evra is now the better player.

yep, tapped up Stam didn't he ? and now they're talking up berbatov.

lets see what gill comes up with, but he's going to look right a right n0b with all this.

as for heinze, I dont think he's better than abeloa who kept messi in his pocket over two CL games. Its clear Rafa wanted him as cover, nothing else.
