First Grade Women's Premier League
I refereed my first 1st grade WPL appointment today, it's the top level football for women in NSW and I am pretty proud to have made it onto the referee panel especially gaining a promotion to first grade from reserve grade.
So, I thought I'd bore you with a couple of photos of my game today.
Unfortunately the Men's Premier League was switched to the same day and took precedence over the women's games so it wasn't in the stadium.
Still didn't spoil the day and both coaches were happy with my performance.

Haha, I got told off for the white trainers so have upgraded to some boots specifically designed for referees (good support when running up and down the line side to side to keep facing play).
The hat is actually a Subaru one because I forgot my ASRF hat. :roll:
It's a good idea to wear one because you can get pretty sunburnt after three to four hours in the sun! (Keeps my hair out of my face too 
).

Wow, what an experience, I got a medal to commemorate the event, everything was lined up like an international match we had to follow everything to the book. Had the national anthem played and everything, the ground was pretty full and the atmosphere was amazing!
There will be a DVD of the match which I have pre-purchased to keep for the future too but I am not going to put it online as it is one you have to pay for done by Football NSW.
