Or is he?
David Beckham's future at Real Madrid remains unclear after reports that the Spanish club would not offer the former England captain a new contract.
Predrag Mijatovic, Real's sporting director, was reported to have told Sky Italia there would be no new deal.
However, Mijatovic later said his words had been mistranslated and he actually said: "Beckham's contract has not been renewed, yet."
However, the BBC understands talks are scheduled to go ahead later this week.

I can't see him coming back to the Premiership and America seems pointless, unless its from a money making point of view. Celtic was rumoured and he would still be at a fairly big team with high chance of still playing European football. Theres still the Italian rumours though.
I think he'll probably end up signing a new contract at Real Madrid.

If he does leave, he'll not go to Scotland. I don't think a move to Celtic would do a thing for him.
From a commercial viewpoint, America would be perfect. He'll continue to prolong his commercial value (at least over there), and MLS will benefit from the David Beckham brand - no doubt it'll spark further interest in the game.
I wouldn't be so quick to rule out a move back to England either. You can imagine the likes of West Ham, Bolton and Spurs getting all excited about today's 'developments', whether they're strictly accurate or not.

Why wouldnt he ??
Posh can stay at there "Palace". David could be home 3 to 4 times a week. Same a Roy Keane.
He would be treated like a king. Would be given his worth in a Signing on fee probably worth close to 5million. Take home 80k a week (its been done before at parkhead )
European Football every year.
2 or 3 years at Celtic Park & he hangs up his boots.
Would be the sensible choice really wouldnt it ??

He'll stay at Real. His commercial value is still far too high to let him go. They're both just posturing over his Image rights. Only reason he'll leave is if Inter promise him first team football. He wont play for another Prem club after United. He's said that. What's the point?

He's won every club title with United, Captained his country and played for the most successful club side in the World. Now I have to say yes he's dropping to a standard that is akin to a pub team but for $200 mil who the **** wouldn't?! He's laughing his **** off!

From a money point of view he is. If he was really passionate about his football still he would of signed for just about any Premiership/Spanish/Italian team for about 20k a week.

It was all down hill after Utd, did he win anything at Real ?? I can't think of anything, also its a bit sad that he's sold out, or should I say Posh sold out...
He's a footballer afterall, winning games and trophies is what its all about and when he was growing up it would have been a European team he dreamt of joining not some yank side.

Think I'd sell out also. I mean once you've played for United etc why would you want to come to a lesser club and struggle only to get knocked down by the English press? Over there he'll be treated like a King and paid a ransom fit for one.
