Once again, Chelsea slap the pantomime tag on English football
Ricardo Carvalho claims Barcelona star Lionel Messi's theatrics have "opened the road" for Chelsea to do the same in the Champions League return game.
Messi was involved when Chelsea's Asier del Horno was sent off in Barcelona's 2-1 first leg win at Stamford Bridge.
Carvalho said: "Messi is a good player but he has opened the road for some Chelsea players to do the same thing.
"He exaggerated everything he could and started to roll around on the field like he had been killed."
Carvalho added: "He deceived the referee well, but these type of things are a part of football."

If it's not Mourinho having a moan, it's squad members. At the end of the day, wrong decisions are made, but berating officials, clubs and individual players, weeks after such decisions, is simply pathetic.
If they continue to act like this in European competition, I fear English clubs will become a laughing stock.

Theyre moaning no more than we heard Fergie or Wenger whinge in the past although I think it was a stupid comment to make. Maybe he made it on purpose though, indicating play acting may go on will alert the ref a little more and the game could be played at a more manly effort giving Chelsea a chance rather than seeing more players sent off for acting....
Just a thought, reverse physcology and all that

The same happened last year, Drogba was sent off, do you feel he should of been?
What should be done??? the whole of the team round on the referee, veins bursting out of their necks, a-la Keane and the rest of the cronies a few years ago????
Are you seriously saying Ferguson has never moaned publicly??? and I'm sure at the time, when they WERE the best team around it would of been in the news. i.e when Porto knocked Man U out of the Champions League two seasons ago, he complained of Portos antics then

Have to have a laugh at Mourihno. Worst performance of acting, cheating, theatrics was by Porto in the UEFA cup Final against Celtic. It was absolutely disgraceful and really left a bad taste. Guess who their manager was?
To show you how bad it was can be emphasised by the fact I support Rangers but still thought the Porto players (and manager) were a disgrace and I felt sorry for Celtic.

The simple fact is, chelsea are the last team on the planet who should moan about play acting. Jose has a short memory, porto won 2 european trophies by diving all the way to the finals, noW the shoe is on the other foot and he is cracking up Also it would be an idea for him to remind the likes of Robben that diving is bad sportsmanship.
It brings a smile to my face, that interview after the Barca game was an example of a man beaten I hope to see more of the same on tuesday night.

Ive not made it any secret who I support, Ive been active in many threads supporting my club etc. I dont see what it matters who I support anyhow as my club is not involved with too many threads on here but it doesnt mean I cant have a valid opinion on football, other clubs and general observations
And its Oldham Althetic (save you going looking now) Go on have a little laugh because theyre not on the Premier**** giants list.
